It can get madly hectic on some school days. It is at such times that you need to take a break, even if it is a short one, to recharge and avoid burnout. Have some short breaks in your school day to grab a snack, drink some water or take a few deep breaths.
4) Learn to Delegate
You do not need to do everything yourself. Learn to delegate tasks to your students and at the same time teach them to be more responsible. For instance, appoint students to look into the cleanliness of the classroom or get them in charge of a class event. By delegating, you not only carve out more time to do other important tasks, you are also inculcating skills like leadership and collaboration in your students.
These strategies should help you manage your time better. When your time is well-utilized, you naturally become more effective and efficient.
